Villa Melodia is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the authentic and picturesque Cretan countryside. If you want to feel as if time has stopped, to forget about the clock and busy reality, this is the right place for you. The house is so charming that there is no passer-by who does not stop to take a closer look or take a photo. The garden is a paradise that smells of jasmine and rosemary bushes. The interior of the house is very warm, fully functional and very thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest details (from the washing machine, iron, coffee machine, to scented sticks and mosquito repellents, which we BTW did not notice). Everything is impeccably clean and tidy. Photos on the website will certainly not convey the beauty of this place to you, it must be experienced. The location is excellent, in any case, if you have decided to go to Crete, be prepared to drive, it would be a pity not to visit Chania, Rethymno, other small towns and villages nearby, and certainly beautiful beaches all along the island.The owner of the house, Maria Elena, will be at your service at any time, very warm and accommodating.

Very relaxing family vacations in a beautiful villa. Spacious and spotless clean villa! Kiids loved the pool and they were playing literally all day, while my husband and I had relaxing and chilling moments. The location of the villa was very convenient as it was close to many beautiful places , which we had the chance to visit. The host is a brilliant young man, full of good energy , made our stay easy and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommended for those need some time of relaxation!!!

Most wonderful location we have ever been in Greece. We always look for special places not for hotels. If you are looking for a picturesque place to relax up on the hill between 2 villages having the most beautiful view of the sea and the area far away from traffic noise and agitation than this is the place to stay. If you add to this the elegance of the house , of the apartment , 3 view terrace and your own spa than you have meet your perfect vacation place. Imagine mornings having a Greek salad and a coffee with that view or imagine the evening when the Sun goes down enjoying the wine on the terrace. The apartment is very well equipped , is very spacious and has everything you need. Washing machine with detergent, dishwashing machine. 2 types of machines for coffee with the coffee included 😊 You will also have water, orange juise and milk in the fridge. You will also have a telescope for the full moon if you have the chance to see it one night or for the stars as well as one for the Sun. The host, Zafeiria , is not a host, is like going to visit your sister after a long time. She welcomes you with such pleasure and warm heart and is always available for anything you need. She greets you with a basket full with Olives, olive oil, oregano and wine all of them prepared or picked up by her personally. I have been amazed of how wonderful a host can treat its visitors. We have also received from her cherry tomatoes from her garden which added more local flavor to our salads and we have picked lemons from her lemon tree which made our morning tea super tasteful. The location is 9 km from the closest beach. Chania and Rethimnon are 30 km away one going to the left one to the right. I recommend visiting them both. Thank you Zafeiria for hosting us! The property was clean, modern, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Secluded enough for privacy and relaxation, but close enough to the village to enjoy a delicious meal.

The property has a wonderful garden that creates a serene environment. Located right next to the main road of the village of Vamos it is very quiet and safe yet it allows you to experience first-hard all the activities and the local shops of the area.

Kostas the owner is a kind and helpful person. Available to answer all questions and help / guide you. The house is fully equipped thus is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The terrace is big enough and cosy, ideal and safe for families with small children. There is also a really nice view from the balcony of the 1st floor, where you can sit and enjoy your evening coffee or drink. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary staff to prepare meals or breakfast. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Cleanliness is a point of reference. It is a 100% value for money house.

Beautiful villas in a beautiful part of Crete. The villas are decorated to the highest standard with lots of little features that gave them a homely feel. 3 proper bedrooms with comfortable beds. The pool and BBQ area is stunning with more than enough sun beds and umbrellas. The gardens are well tended and so pretty.

I wanted a reasonably-priced base from which to explore Apokoronas, with a bed, shower, fridge and somewhere to relax outside - and that's exactly what I got. (I can highly recommend the swing seat you can see in the pictures in the garden - I had a very comfortable nap in that after a long day!) Just a few minutes' walk to the centre of Vamos with great cafes and restaurants, and very central for trips into the country or to the coast. The host is delightful - so friendly and helpful.
