Ideal for couples. A few tips: you'd better rent a car - it will make getting to the place and visiting villages and tavernas around easier. This is not a mainstream all inclusive type of thing, but a real, traditional house in the middle of hills, so you are a guest of the surrounding nature too:)

Fantastic apartment which was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The view was stunning and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a coffee early in the morning as well as in the early evening. After three nights in Chania it was great to get off the beaten track! The local taverna was also worth a visit (fantastic food and huge portions), as well as Rotonda in the next village along. Manolis' was only a message away if needed anything - thank you for everything, we will be back!

Villa Chryssi is a very beautiful home in the small village of Koukunara on the hills behind Kissamos. The home is brand new with a lot of amenities (full air conditioning, washing machine, smart tv and internet with WiFi). The kitchen is very well equipped (with full oven, microwave and glass ceramic hob) with the possibility to eat inside or outside. Last but not least there are two big plus: the beautiful pool with falls and hydromassage and the BBQ area with table and umbrella. Moreover there is a breathtaking view from the bedroom balcony!!! Finally Chrissa (the host's daughter) was very kind and helpful, showing us Cretan hospitality and making us feel like family members!!! Hope to see you soon again

This has got to be one of the best holiday rentals I have ever booked EVER!! The communication was great with the owner Arietta before arrival, so it was so nice to meet her in person too. There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival with delicious food treats. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated and very clean, great pool with a nice outside dining area too. There were lots of lovely toiletries too, very comfy bed and great shower. The grounds are big, again very clean and well kept, lovely pool and the views are amazing. The area itself is very quiet, but within 7-8 minutes you are in the main town Kissamos. You do need a car to get around so we did get to explore the surrounding areas too. What I loved about the villa is that it was just so peaceful, chilled and tranquil, there was hardly any other cars driving by, and all you would hear is the bells from the goats nearby or the kestrels in the sky! As this is one of my favourite rentals, I can't wait till we return again! Thank you Arietta!!

Host is a treasure :) what else do you need? Honestly, we are returning customers. And we will be back probably. This is our favorite location for relaxing stay on Crete. Peace, quite and 4 perfect beaches in range (Paleochora, Falasarna, Elafonisi, Agio Apostoli - every one in more/less the same distance/time travel). This is perfect match for our need and preferences. And then near byRotonta Cafe - tavern with delicious fresh meals in very reasonable prices!

super cute little authentic greek house with everything you need. the location is in a remote small village so mind that its a bit of a drive. we had a excellent stay! the bed is good and the balcony is very nice to enjoy the view while having breakfast
