We had a fantastic stay at this super clean and spacious accommodation, in walking distance to the village, good tavernas, and the sea. The house has a big living room with a fully functional kitchen, 2 proper bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a nice balcony where we could sit in the evening and catch the breeze. The rooms have big windows with mosquito nets, very helpful. It felt like sleeping on a farm with all the fruit trees around and hearing the roosters in the morning. All the members of the family (including the pets) were super friendly and sweet. Lefteris was nice, responsive, easy to communicate with, and very helpful with some pick up / drop off rides (we didn't have our own car). Thank you for a lovely stay, we would go back anytime! The property manager and handyman were sweet and accommodated our *very* late arrival, even coming to rescue us when we got a bit lost driving there and calling the local taverna to make sure they stayed open late enough for us to go pick up dinner the first night. The villa is almost brand-new and everything is in mint condition. The hosts had plenty of extra bed linens and towels available, plus a little snack for the children to have breakfast the first day. It's a beautiful area and the folks in town are very nice. English is widespread as a second language. Frequently, when we found someone who did not speak English as a second language, they could speak German as a second language.

Villa Vigla is a great place to stay in Southern Crete. The pool is wonderful and the villa is well equipped. Poppy is a great host, really welcoming. Keratokampos is very peaceful and we’ve had great weather for the start of April. The sea is just 200m from the villa. There’s a small supermarket 15 mins walk in next door Kastri. Keratokampos is about 1hr 15 drive from Heraklion- a dramatic drive through the mountains.
