The venue is in a quiet place with an impressive view to the port, as well as the open sky.The host, Georgia, is a wonderful person and a real professional. She supported our visit to the island right from the beginning, offering useful information and making sure we were satisfied, facilitating our stay in every possible way.

My partner and I and our two dogs stayed at Ruby’s house for four nights. It was a last minute booking and we feel so lucky that it was available. I used to avoid booking places that didn’t have many reviews but have found some great places—especially Ruby’s. Ruby was quite communicative from the minute we made the reservation. She sent us directions and greeted us on arrival. We have a car, and it was nice to be able to park on the property. Because of the dogs, it was also nice to just let them jump out of the car knowing they were safe in Ruby’s yard. There is seating outside as well as a swing. There are also beautiful trees. You can easily not leave the property and still feel like you are on vacation, and everything you could need such as restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store, bakeries and ATMs are a short walk away at the port. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We only really used one bedroom and there was plenty of room to store our belongings. The sheets and towels felt very high quality. The living room had a selection of books to read. There was a tv, but we didn’t turn it on. There is also a small study that we didn’t use but did sample some sweets from a candy bowl that lived in there! The bathroom was modern and Ruby provided nice toiletries and many items that you may have accidentally forgotten. Ruby provided great food items such as fresh fruit, cookies, and bread (among other things). She also had a lot of water, both still and sparkling, soda, and milk. We had already been on Andros for a few days and it felt like quite a luxury to have all of this available to us without having to go to the supermarket. You won’t regret booking Ruby’s place on Andros—you will immediately feel at home!

Very spacious with a massive terrace where you can basically live in the summer. It has wonderful view of the ferry port and the little bay. Denise, the host, is a warm and friendly, and her son Stamatis helped us a lot with recommendations.

About 2 mins walk from the accommodation is a lovely sandy beach with crystal clear water. Views from the property were amazing.
