Quirky old cottage, very convenient for Wellington. Wonky floors and beams all add to the cottage’s charm. Easy off road parking 5 minutes away. The host was very helpful and friendly and responded to my requests. Very well equipped kitchen. New cooker. Condiments, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, wine, washing machine tabs, soap etc all in generous supply. The garden is really lovely and I expect it would be great to sit out there in warmer weather. The cottage itself was warm inside.

We were only at the property for one night and didn’t use any kitchen equipment or the dining table to cook or eat. We like the spacious living area and the whole house has been obviously lovingly restored. It was comfortable to sit in the living area to chat in the evening. And it really is very cosy upstairs! Although the bedrooms are very small, this is to be expected in a cottage called “cosy” perhaps! The double room in which we slept was a delightful room. I like a bathroom with both a bath and a shower, which were both present. And lots of surface area to place items on.

Place was big, clean and well maintained. Had an excellent time there. Fully equipped kitchen. Even had alum foil. Certainly would stay again.

The cottage was spacious and tastefully decorated, with many lovely details and a very well provided kitchen. Its countryside location provided a peaceful stay. We had cold and wet weather so we couldn't enjoy the garden, but even then we saw lots of birds and we enjoyed sitting by a warm homefire (stove heater actually, but very pretty) in the evenings.

Super lovely little apartment in a quiet area. Perfect for a restful weekend. The apartment was spotless clean and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.
