A gorgeously decorated character building set in a beautiful country estate in the English countryside. Perfect for a little getaway to enjoy a piece of the english countryside in Bedfordshire. The location is perfect for little walks into the nearby villages for a bite to eat at the numerous country pubs, to visit the cute little boutiquey shops or just to enjoy the beautiful countryside and buildings. The cottage had been beautifully decorated in a fresh and modern country feel but has tastefully respected the age and history of the building. The kitchen is well kitted out for the keenest of chefs with a big Aga style oven and all modcons. The cottage accommodates a family comfortably with a little bedroom for 2 on the second floor with its own little tv. This was perfect for our family, giving our older children a little space of their own to relax whilst on holiday. There was also a fantastic adventure playground outside the cottage, which kept all our children (11,9 & 4) entertained. The grounds on the estate are beautifully kept and we could have easily stayed longer to enjoy more time there walking around the lake, enjoying watching the ducks and birds and appreciating the nature. The accommodation is set about an hr from London so ideal if you want to stay in the countryside but still enjoy what London has to offer.

The atmosphere, and the lovely greeting I recieved on arrival. The little cottage Annex was adorable, I felt safe and it was very peaceful place to stay. Extremely clean. Warmed up quickly, clean, private and tidy patio to sit and have coffee. I absolutely loved it and what a change ftom a hotel in town. Good lightening outside for returning after dark. definitely book again. Thank you 😊

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eddiwick House in Dunstable, and it was a stratifying experience from start to finish. The location of the house is great, nestled in a quiet neighbourhood yet still conveniently close to enough to get into London when I needed to and amenities were all there. The house itself is well maintained, with decent amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. From cozy bedrooms to spacious common areas, every detail was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a pleasant stay. Our host Aimee and her team went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, from providing recommendations for local restaurants to ensuring I felt at home throughout my stay. Aimee's warm and welcoming demeanor truly added a special touch to my time at Eddiwick House.

Clean, roomy house. Big TV, fast WiFi, cozy beds, all necessary cutlery, tea, coffee etc. was present in the kitchen. Owner very responsive and helpful. Would visit again :-)

house is in very quiet location, spacious living room, open plan kitchen/dinner definitely will be back
