The atmosphere was very homely and relaxed, the space was laid out very well and flooded with natural light, the furniture and facilities were not just functional but very well thought out to address every possible need, the place was absolutely spotless, the rural setting and lovely views were great - but also very close to Sleaford for any needs you may have in a town. The owners were absolutely great, so responsive to our every need and very thoughtful. They run a sheep sanctuary (doesn't interfere with the property in any way but a lovely added bonus if you like sheep!), they are also artists and the paintings in the property add a lovely personal and local aspect. The hand written card we were left was illustrated by the owner and that was a very lovely touch, alongside home made bread and local eggs and butter! The owners didn't just cater to our aesthetic needs but one of our party had car trouble that needed sorted for a time sensitive event and they phoned around various local mechanics and it got resolved in time. We also had a poorly baby and they were very helpful in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible from that point of view. We'd love to come back, we had such a lovely time. One word.... Wow. What an Amazing place to stay. SUPER clean. Lovely friendly hosts. Everything you could ever need and much much more. The decor was Gorgeous. Perfect sized lodge with big King size beds, Spacious kitchen, dining, lounge area. The Two bathrooms were great. The Air conditioning units were great for this weekends weather. The hot tub was Perfect to relax in on a Sunny evening. We loved the Personalised Robes too. A lovely touch was the Bread and cheese left in the fridge for us. My husband absolutely loved them. We will absolutely be back and want to stay longer next time. We will totally recommend Tythe Lodge to all of our family and friends. The best 50th Birthday break. Exceeded all of Our expectations. location was fantastic, my English family had joked about Sleaford being in the middle of no ware but actually worked out great, Sleaford is a beautiful market town close to Linkon and trains 1hr to london and york
