Quiet location, spacious and cozy at the same time. Wonderful contry side, peaceful and hospitable area. The Garrett is very well maintained and clean. It is remote from the buzz of the city while being close to all needed accomadations. An excellent home base to visit the area (Salisbury, Stonehenge, Wilton, Winchester, ...). We highly recommend it!

Location was ideal. Just outside the town of Salisbury, with countryside views and a good-sized yard ("garden" in England) for recreational activities. The kitchen, dining room, the Japanese garden and the patio (with BBQ grill) were ideal for our group of 12 people. Parking space was also plentiful.

Andrew went exceedingly beyond to help us with multiple situations. He is a kind and considerate man. The house is clean and lovely. It is a perfect place which can hold over 6 people comfortably with two bathrooms and comfortable beds. He provides extra advantages to staying here such as extra towels, hairdryers, chargers, kitchen utensils, etc. We would stay longer or return if we had the opportunity.

The staff were lovely and upgraded us to a bigger room on arrival. The steak restaurant downstairs was great and breakfast was good too. The lack of car park wasn’t a problem - we parked briefly opposite, dashed in, were given a 24 hour permit and drove a hundred yards round the corner. The Chapter House is so central - just opposite a little walkway straight to the cathedral. A truly excellent stay and we hope to come back.
