Friendly greeting by owner, fresh flowers, grocery pack, flame-effect fire lit, relaxing music on radio, tasteful lighting, etc. Obviously a great deal of thought had been put into room layout, decor and furnishings to make this a truly exceptional retreat.

Nice cosy and well appointed accommodation situated down a quiet lane. Host provided a welcome pack comprising milk, orange juice, butter and crumpets as well as tea, coffee and sugar. The request for an earlier than arranged check-in was readily agreed to. Good Wi-Fi connection was a great advantage when researching activities and restaurants in the local area.

What a great find! The cottage was bright, airy, and cheerful. The cooking implements were perfectly sufficient, and it was very nice to have a washer/dryer combo in the kitchen. The bathroom was very nice, and the bedroom was comfortable. Cheryl was most accommodating and easy to contact. The lovely fresh homemade cakes on arrival was SO nice! We really enjoyed all of the sweet hamlets in the area. What a peaceful, idyllic part of the country. We happened to be staying when the Wolds Steam Railway was in operation, and that was a fun little expedition.

Everything from being checked in by the owner,the view from the very clean cottage we stayed in plus the fishing was very Good,very peaceful and quiet also.

A little peace of heaven, we loved the hot tub, games room and the garden fairy lights…..shame we couldn't stay longer. The hosts were particularly accommodating. Thank you very much.

Very well equipped including things that in other places I've had to buy. The owner also Included some lovely treats 😋 Nice quiet location very peaceful.
