There is plenty of beds and space so if your a bigger family this would suit you. The landlord is nice and genuine person, any questions or queries I had, he was quick to answer and went the extra mile for me and my partner. Will be staying here again in the future. The property was so peaceful and relaxing and has everything you need for a comfortable stay . The property is tastefully decorated and furnished and had a lovely homely feel. Great location just under Penshaw Monument, in the middle of the countryside. Very good facilities in the property and very well laid out. Owner even set up a Xmas tree and lights for our stay - a lovely touch. We also made use of the cafe next door - they make an excellent cooked breakfast in the morning.

The house was clean and warm. Loved the little touches like spare toothbrushes plenty of loo paper, makings for a few cuppas and washing/dishwash tablets. Kitchen crockery well stocked, good range of pans. Dishwasher and washing machine simple to operate and worked well. The owners were easy to contact via booking.com or whatsapp and responded quickly even on a bank holiday.

The facilities were of a normal home, perhaps needs a chopping board for the kitchen (I may not have seen it), but otherwise great.
