The purpose of our trip was for a family funeral. The house is lovely and in a very peaceful and quiet location in Milngavie. The house was freezing cold when we checked in and remained that way for 4 days. The property owner was unavailable the whole visit which was 7 days. Finally the management company who was overseeing the property sent out a technician to look at the thermostat which he eventually disconnected so we either had heat on or off. I asked through booking.com that we receive compensation for our visit and have not heard back from anyone. We returned home 3 days ago and no response to date. It made a very difficult time for our family even worse. On a couple of occasions it was 9 degrees in the house. The other issue was that there was no instructions on how to operate any of the appliances or anything else in the house.

Very clean, nice quiet area. Was accommodating by allowing us to enter an hour early so my dad could rest after a long journey

Great house - stayed there over Christmas and New Years this past year and was a great space to host family gatherings and I imagine would be even better in warmer weather as there is a nice backyard with a gazebo. Heated floors were a nice surprise, nice office area for me to work while others were in the main room/kitchen which was setup with a nice open plan. We loved the hot tub first thing in the morning, or last thing in the evening and plenty of parking for about 6 cars. Quiet area as well.

Great location - the walk to the Botanics and University area along the river was lovely. The house was quiet, clean, spacious, had all we needed, plus a wonderful river view.

Great location for a few days exploring the west end of glasgow. Very comfortable for a couple and good facilities. Everything you need in the apartment. Very close to Byres road for every sort of shop or restaurant you could need. Supermarkets and chemists nearby if required. Short walk to the museum and Kelvin Grove Park. Good check-in instructions from the owner the night before and easy to find using the directions given on the app. Free parking 5 mins away if needed.
