The view from the rear of the property was beautiful. The best bit for our 2 young boys was the piano in the dining room and the 'disco bath'. We went for a lovely walk and the scenery was amazing! Hosts left ample and varied breakfast provisions. Exactly what we needed.

Despite the cold, wet weather we were warm and very comfortable. Lovely big kitchen ideal for group meals. Large comfortable living room, which despite the warning had excellent television reception. Lots of books and games provided, plus piano and lots of music. Hot tub was appreciated after afternoon at Kelso races! An old house full of character, the trip was enjoyed by the entire party.

The cottage was cosy and everything I could want for a solo stay with work. The bathroom is fabulous, the cottage roasting and the bed very very comfortable. Close enough for travelling each day to Kelso for work.
