The pictures don't do this beautiful property justice! WOW, just WOW! The location is GRAND! These stand alone cabins are gorgeous and well appointed. We stayed in Lodge 21, although there were many more cabins than we expected from the site. We were glad that we stayed 2 nights and only wish we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure fantastic. As Americans were SO appreciated the binder with step by step instructions on "how-to" work all the appliances, the washer/dryer, heat and showers. We were especially grateful for the washer/dryer as we had been hiking in the rain and were covered in mud! The fireplace was a delicious treat, too!

Although we booked lodge 20 we were allocated lodge 22, but it is a Beautiful lodge with a perfect setting overlooking the sea. The lodge is fully equipped for making any meal if you wish, it has everything you have at home, dishwasher, washing machine with built in dryer, fridge and separate freezer. The lodge was spotless and well presented, it has a deck and deck chairs in the lodge, amazing sunsets. A 2 minute walk from the lodge you will find - a kiosk for fish and chips etc, a cafe serving meals, a deli which serves coffee etc, an ice cream shop, distillery, a brewery where you can have a pint and of course the ferry to Orkney or a wildlife cruise.

Questo alloggio è veramente incantevole. Vista sul mare, arredamento stile scandinavo molto accogliente, servito di tutto. Siamo arrivati dopo una giornata di vento e grandine in cui avevamo preso tanta acqua e freddo, mettere piede in questa casa così calda e avvolgente e’ stata una sensazione semplicemente meravigliosa. Letto comodo, bagno e cucina forniti e puliti. La vetrata gigantesca nella sala rende tutto super magico, fuori vedi la costa, il mare, gli animali.. Davvero stupendo. Consigliatissimo!

Location is very close to the John O'groats signpost. Free parking for residents away from the normal tourist carpark. Room was clean and spacious considering it was just a bedroom with en suite. Kettle and little coffee machine in the room, plus a TV.
