We loved the whole feel of the cottage, the location and the surroundings. Cottage was just beautiful! Perfect for a relaxing holiday or if you wanted just a place to sleep after gorgeous walks around the countryside. A short walk down the lane behind the cottage is a stunning lake you’re able to swim in, the lake and views are breathtaking. Seeing the horses pass the cottage almost daily was beautiful and being next to a couple of stables was lovely for the kids (they love horses like me!) There’s a little village shop (in Withypool) a few minutes drive away with everything you’d need, the tea rooms there is absolutely gorgeous! You must try the scones! And the Royal Oak pub does amazing food (all within a 5 minute drive) The cottage tho was exactly what we wanted and more! Nicky the owner was so lovely, helpful & friendly :) The pool was a huge hit for us…having it to ourselves was perfect :) We do hope to return again!
