Lovely to be welcomed with a hamper of goodies and a bottle of fizz. A great little weekend getaway, for us it was a journey stop over. Hot tub was lovely.

The home was furnished with everything need, and the hot tub was maintained daily. The hosts provided firewood upon request, as well as a beautiful Scottish breakfast basket for our last day. There was someone at the property everyday if we needed anything. The location was great for sightseeing as it’s right in between Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We had a lovely time 2 children and 4 adults. Lots of toys colouring books, pencils etc.supplied. The lodge is on a farm with amazing views for the adults however the children loved the cows and birds. The house was warm and well supplied with everything we needed. It was also perfect for visiting the Falkirk Wheel, the Helix and the surrounding area.

Loved everything about the cabin, catered for our every need and the dogs had a great time too! The staff added to the experience, so pleasant and left me birthday treats also which was a lovely touch!

It is about 8 minutes away from Falkirk, but an easy drive. I loved the quiet location...very peaceful. And I liked how the cows mooed us awake every morning! Really enjoyed the outdoor seating and the very modern kitchen with the clothes washer. Hot water and water pressure were excellent, obviously a lot of thought has gone into this place. Also, the Welcome Packet was very useful and thorough.

Had a great time with family, loved the accommodation and the location was quiet, peaceful and safe. Irene is a wonderful host. We liked the fact that she provided the initial breakfast items and some cleaning products. Overall a lovely stay, highly recommended! Would love to visit again, may be in summer.
