Walking distance to almost everything I needed in the village shopping area. The proximity to Balmoral Castle really surprised me too. Well manicured and very quiet neighbourhood, exactly what I wanted for a good break. Full marks to the self-catering facilities and cottage arrangement.

Very cosy funxtionable space. The hot tub was lovely and warm even in sub 0c temperatures. The woodburner is excellent and keeps the lodge nice and warm. Wonderful layout and design, everything you need.

The room was very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The couple were very friendly and helpful as I had forgotten my hairdryer and the landlady offered the use of one. The landlady gave us comprehensive information about the area and the restaurants. Would certainly recommend for a relaxing stay.
