We stayed two nights at Maison du Moulin during our trip to watch a motorcycle race at St Leger de Balson. Everything we needed was at the apartment, I can highly recommend it. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and let us put our motorcycles under cover during the night, I look forward to staying at Maison du Moulin again in the future. A nice touch was that tea, coffee and toiletries were left for us!

Local patisserie was wonderful for morning croissants and pain au chocolate - and pastel de bath for after dinner too. A couple of local restaurants too if you’re not having a day in Bordeaux / Bergerac / Saint Emilion nearby.

This is a jewel, set in fabulous grounds, perfectly located in the heart of the Bordeaux wine region. 4 generations of our family went and each enjoyed it! I have never had a more attentive hostess, nothing was too much trouble. Our little girl was even taken horse riding by Helene, our hostess! The property is full of intriguing, ancient features, with something new to discover at each turn! The old and the new are beautifully merged, with all modern conveniences. With the amount of space inside and out, even 15 of us did not feel cramped. Thank you Helene, we are already booking for next year!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is nicely decorated, very comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay there again.
