What a fantastic property, well set up with plenty of utensils in the kitchen to cook from scratch, comfy beds and we really appreciated the temperature in the property being cool in the heatwave. We didn’t even need to use the air con which is a bonus for the environment. Lots to do in the local area, including a wonderful Lido with three outdoor pools in Vouvray, kayaking with kayak family at chenonceau was great fun. Host Anna’s communication was great before, during and on departure and made several suggestions on things to do in the area which showed knowledge of the area and enthusiasm to support us as guests so we could truly enjoy our stay. One thing to be mindful of visiting in August is lots of the independent stores can shut for their holidays which is a shame as supermarkets don’t have the same feel. So may be worth knowing which direction to head in for the Patisserie…. as it may be not the closest village.

This is a unique accommodation in a very beautiful setting. I implore anyone to try it at least once. The facilities were excellent rooms all decorated to a high standard. So much space. Host was there to welcome on arrival which was a nice added touch. Within meters of a wine tasting venue including a shop to but wine and other delicacies. Also has a personal parking space. Very much recommended.

We stayed at the townhouse for two weeks and made it a base for exploring the Loire Valley. For that purpose, it was fantastic! Laurence, the hostess explained everything to us regarding the house and we also made a guided four with her for three hours in her Citroen 2CV. The town houe is in the dead centre of this little village. Two great boulangeries within 100 metres, well stocked supermarket 400 m. Charcuterie shop with plenty of ready made quiches, terrines, salads etc. just opposite one of the bakeries. Off street parking. Great WiFi. Fully equipped kitchen. One could not have wished for a better place.

Endroit très sympathique et reposant. Avec le beau temps c'est encore mieux.
