We loved everything about this property. The location is so beautiful. The house itself is spacious and welcoming. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for two nights and throughly enjoyed it. We used the barbecue in the garden and the comfortable living and dinning room inside. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms have lovely hot showers. The perfect location.

Domaine de Marlas is a very beautiful gite situated in French countryside. There are a lot of beautiful walks around and there is even a river nearby, which can be easily accessed from the property. The gite is very well-equipped, it felt like being home from home. The host was very helpful and recommended lovely places to visit. Mirepoix is a lovely medieval town just a short drive away. There are a lot of good restaurants and cafes there. I really recommend Lac de Montbel, where we went crayfishing and swimming. A visit to Carcassonne is also a must!

The house was very spacious and clean. We liked the terrace covered in plants, and the outside kitchen. The garden was huge, with lots of activities and places to sit down peacefully. The swimming pool was always clean :-) The hosts are extremely nice and helpful.

It is such a gem of a place... The little house, beautifully renovated and the whole hamlet, surrounded by fields and forest.. It was an amazing experience and we had a great stay there - thank you, Katie and Rich! We arrived during the wave of extremely hot weather, so the pool was just life-saving :) We also appreciated the welcome gift from Katie, the beautiful garden with fruit trees, herbs and cherry tomatoes. WiFi worked quite well. The house was very spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. It was also a perfect location to explore Ariege, 5 min drive to Mirepoix, 30 min to Foix / Labouiche, about 40 min to Montségur. I hope we will have a chance to stay there again!

Very nice hosts! The apartment is big and beautiful, so not too bad when the weather isn´t great. But the outside is even more beautiful with a (shared) pool and garden where we spent a lovely day in the sun. And of course the location is ideal, very quiet on the countryside but close to beautiful (medieval) towns, sunflower fields, vineyards and mountain views.
