Lovely quiet location by the river and only a few minutes walk (up a steep hill!) from the picturesque town of Semur en Auxois. Well equipped and comfortable property. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Lovely shared garden by the river (which wasn’t explained very well on the property’s booking site).

I loved the house so so much, it was hard and sad to leave…. the house is big, super full and stocked… The view from windows and terrace are superb. Facility to park the car, just in front of the house.

This is a beautifully designed nest for two. On a traditional design the host himself built (he is a stone mason) the tower. It is very modern and comfortable inside, bordering on luxury. The host and hostess are very welcoming. A short walk takes you into a charming, unspoilt old town, complete with quiet river walk. It is very convenient for the motorway.
