We called the owners on arrival as we were advised. The owners explained how we could access the property. We stayed for over a week and had a great time! The property was managed as a family business and we could have not asked for more. We even received a tour of their winery when we expressed an interest in how wine is made. The property was clean, functional, well equipped and very modern. We only can recommend this Gite. The owners were friendly but they were also respectful of our privacy. And they make good wine, too! :o)

beautiful, well equipped gite in a wonderful rural location. very friendly owners - on site if needed but unobtrusive. Fabulous pool and grounds. The Gironde region is fabulous and the gite so close to beautiful spots like St Emilion, St Castillion la Bataille.

Lavande gite is an idyllic little haven set in amongst the vineyards. Saint-Émilion is a 15-minute drive and well worth a visit. Had a lovely week staying here. It is peaceful and quiet. Our gite was very spacious and clean with everything that we required. The patio area was private and a lovely place to have breakfast or dinner in the sunshine, there was even a little BBQ with coal all ready to use. The complex was well kept and the pool area was the perfect place to while away the days (it was exceptionally clean)! Ralph and Despo were happy, friendly and very attentive, providing useful tips for exploring the local area. We really appreciated the small touches, the Brie, baguette and wine on arrival as well as the bunch of flowers. Would highly recommend Gasquerie gites for a thoroughly relaxing holiday.

The location was perfect for exploring the area. St Emillion and its wineries were about 10/15 minutes away and Bordeaux was about an hour. The apartment was clean and well furnished with new appliances and kitchen needs. There was a cone coffee maker as well as a nespresso machine(the local grocery store actually had Starbucks nespresso pods). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Benedictine, our host, was wonderful and patient with our French. She was glad to show us her winery and her product. Highly recommend Gite du chateau Rose des Vents.

Big an spacious. The garden is a really nice place to watch the sunsets. Well-equipped kitchen. Big bedrooms with comfortable beds.
