Loved it! We like to be close to small towns but not in the middle of everything, and we like to interact with local French people and this was perfect for us. We feel sorry for people who stay in hotels and don’t experience these wonderful places owned by local people.

Bigger than we expected, with a large well equipped living space downstairs and washing machine in the adjacent barn. Our wonderful host was very helpful, accommodating and generous. The location is very peaceful and rural.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful countryside house in Lopérec, a quiet village near the Armorique National Park. Édith, the owner, was very kind, flexible and helpful. The house was very clean, well decorated and surrounded by a green area and gardens. We stayed for just one night and went to Crozon, to see the impressive Pointe de Dinan and the breath-taking landscape of France's Atlantic coast.

Just about everything! The facilities were excellent; M Gex's property is very traditional and beautiful, with a huge garden and plenty of room to walk around. Upstairs was light and airy with several skylights. The area is peaceful and there are lots of places of interest nearby and further afield on the Crozon and Raz peninsulas. A lovely part of France, and M Gex has obviously dedicated years of work to restoring a huge property; work is still ongoing. Wildlife bonus - a pair of barn owls are present and had 2 young on view most nights on our roof or the adjoining roof! A real privilege to see them so close up.

The view was probably the best part. the bedrooms were also very spacious, and the cleanliness was also good. The house also offered good storage facilities.
