The location was very peaceful, the owner very welcoming and lovely. The accommodation had everything you would ever need and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would recommend staying at La Grange.

Unusual house with an eclectic collection of artifacts; charm and interesting detail wherever you looked. A real novelty that it is an old house partly built into the rock, hence "semitroglodyte". The house is very full and a bit marmite in that you'll love that or hate it - but it has amazing character. Very well equipped. Like us you need to like cats as are there are several around! Located in the heart of the Loire wine and chateaux country. 10 mins drive from Amboise.

Beautiful big old house in a beautiful place! Fruitful garden to drink a cup of coffee at the morning and to make a bbq at the evening, with children's swing. Very interesting interior, a lot of place and bedrooms, the children were so excited. Almost all the most interesting castles in a 1 hour by car, many wineries and good Super U supermarket. Thanks for the great time, wished to stay longer or return in the future!

Wonderful and comfortable- great shower!! Central location to exploring the Loire Valley. Convenient parking. Very kind and understanding hosts - truly wonderful and genuine representatives of the culture and its generosity. I would definitely stay again. Small shop only 3 short blocks away for basic groceries, with a bakery next to it for your baguettes. Visit the caves and winery at the base of the hill of Montlouis town church.

Everything was top! Breakfast just what you needed, the home made youghurt was heavenly, like a soft cream only the taste reminded that it was youghurt. I would love to come back when it is summer!
