Anne is a wonderful host and her gite is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area of France. We visited in October and found the property to be spacious, clean and very cozy despite the cold weather. The lounge with pellet-fired wood burner is a particularly lovely place to relax after a day out. Along with a spacious interior, there are also really beautiful gardens to enjoy in any season. The Gite was set back away from a very quiet country lane surrounded by the gardens and fields. It had everything you could possibly need with a well equipped kitchen. The owners had provided a selection of local products, which was a lovely touch. The dresser in the kitchen included a photo so you knew where to put stuff back. The flower pot couple kept an eye on things in the garden.

Lee and John are perfect hosts, very nice people! In the evening we sat on the beautiful terrace enjoying the silence, the only sound you hear are some grasshoppers. The garden is just marvelous! Lee and John are working hard to keep him in a perfect shape, and you can tell. There is a table-tennis room and a place for playing petanque. We went there with our 2 kids 3 and 8, they both liked it there. In the region we went for a walk in the woods, we went to Domfront, and to an enchanted village. It was perfect!
