Our hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The property is spacious and in superb condition with all the facilities you need and more. It is just over 1km into the centre of Chinon.. It's an easy walk and preferable to taking the car into town. Perfect for a short stay in the Loire.

A beautiful house in a beautiful town. House was in a quiet little street, but only 5 minutes walk into the centre, with all its cafes, bars, and restaurants. It was so clean and well presented, with everything you could need to stay longer than the one night we stayed. Plenty to do and see in the town, and up at the historic walled citadel. Very unfortunately, I didn't meet the owner, Delphine. However, she did keep in contact and made the stay so easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend La Dodolela. We were 4 guys on Cycling trip, and there were 3 double bedrooms and a sofa bed also. Plenty of room, and very comfortable.

This lovely, spacious and comfortable house was perfectly located to explore Chinon and environs. Although I didn't meet the host, contact prior to the stay was easy and response always quick and informative. The house has everything you need, although the variety of restaurants in Chinon may mean you don't bother to cook at home. It was a lovely haven to come back to after a day of exploring. Beds very comfortable and quality linen. I certainly hope to return here on my next stay in the vicinity.
