This is a large family home located near the highest point in the village, next to the picturesque church & castle offering excellent views. The property is very big and well equipped. It has all you would need in the kitchen plus a pantry that includes the basic foodstuffs from previous occupants (salt, pepper,oil, tea, coffee, etc). There are 2 supermarkets in the village as well as a bakery, butchers & fruit/veg shop, all within easy walking distance. The patio is a wonderful space where you could eat (easy access to kitchen) or sit in or out of the sun. The inflatable pool at the end of the patio was perfect - it was very hot when we visited, often around 40C, so the pool was much appreciated. The house is very comfortable and Isa obviously takes great care over the property, leaving flowers and fresh fruit upon your arrival, as well as a very nice olive oil from the local co-op. Isa is the perfect host, very kind and exceptionally helpful, ringing around to find details for any inquiries we had and even volunteering to come with us to act as translator. She obviously takes great pride in her family home and village and this shows and was much appreciated by us.

The owner met us on arrival and made us feel very welcomed.

The house is nestled in a serene setting, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is the  perfect choice for families seeking a memorable and rejuvenating getaway! One of the highlights of the location was the opportunity to embark on scenic drives along the winding roads that overlooked the lake. It was a remarkable way to explore the area.  The hosts were outstanding in their hospitality and attentiveness, making us feel like cherished guests throughout our stay.  We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the amenities, tranquil ambiance and idyllic views of this wonderful property!

Lesley and Clay were both charming and very helpful with pre-arrival information, handing over the keys and at checkout at the end of our stay. The property is in a great position within walking distance of an excellent restaurant and the town of Iznajar. although some may prefer to drive to the town as it is up a steep hill. We couldn't fault the villa which was spotlessly clean with a great pool surrounded by a large terrace with plenty of loungers, tables and chairs. We would definitely return here if staying in the area in future.
