Lovely property and very well equiped. The Wifi is excellent, which was great as we needed to stay in touch with work. It was an ideal base for exploring the island., and if you hire a car most of the island is easily accessible.

Well, a lot of good things were said about the Casa rural La Montañeta Alta before and I can only agree with the previous comments. Maybe I should add the camera obscura in the main bed room. Every morning the surrounding mountains and the clouds (if any) are projected through a tiny knothole in the wooden window blinds onto the opposite wall. Staying there around the time of the winter solstice a signal to rise and start the days activities. Being more or less in the middle of Fuerteventura the Casa is an ideal start point for a multitude of road bike tours that avoid the FV2 completly.

The owner is Spanish with little English so used google translate which can be a little off with the translate but the instruction were easy and the owner willing to offer help which I did not need. The wifi was great as got to do a little work while there. The place was updated and very clean with a nice terrace. I have already recommended it to others. Also there was no noise at night because of location so relaxing.
