Very nice and cozy house, a lot of space and rooms. The house is equiped with all necessarily + extra nice things link gaming room, gaming console, etc. Good wifi, nice garden/terrace. Quite place, large parking place and free public one near the house. Above the expectations.

Marijke made sure everything was ok and that we were comfortable and could find what we needed in the area. The bakery was a great recommendation. The bathtub was perfect.

The house is in the forest, direct access to walking trails. Also the bed is really comfortable, which is not always the case for rented houses. Plenty of restaurants in Maasmechelen close by.

Great size for me as a solo traveller requiring self-catering accommodation. The garden house is at the back of the superb main residence. Studio style that makes good use of the space. Really calm. Bed comfortable. Maybe consider earplugs if you're a light sleeper and likely to be awakened by the fridge. Well-equipped kitchenette for making simple meals, liked the induction hob. Shower water pressure good. Liked the Italian style shower; as is often the case, maybe best not to leave the water running too long! No problem parking in the property driveway. Friendly host replied quickly to all enquiries.

Cute local community held an evening together for a cozy "Christmas Market". Enjoyed the atmosphere, glühwein, and krautdogs. Took a beautiful winter wonderland hike in the Dilserbos immediately adjacent to the home. Visited the Maasmechelen Village outlet center and M2 mall for some nice Christmas shopping, just minutes away. Perfectly located in the quiet forest, but not too far from conveniences.
