Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. The Ocean View Suite was very, very pretty, it was super clean, we had lots of room and there was everything what you need including a small kitchen with a fridge inside the room but also a bigger kitchen for everyone. We had a very nice stay here and would definitely come back. Also the bathroom and the bed and everything else had a very high standard and in total this was the best stay we had in Hawaii. Offering a sauna, Aloha Junction B&B sits on 1.3 acres of private, fully landscaped property. Guests are 10 minutes' walk from local shops and restaurants. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 3 km away.... The place is a little piece of paradise. Robert is a wonderful and kind host. Breakfast was amazing. Variety of vegetation can make any botanical garden jealous. Very spacious and bright room.

Located 1 mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, this Volcano historical lodge features a hot tub. Lava viewing at Halema'uma'u Crater is 4 miles away. Right next to Volcano Park. Lovely location, lovely rooms. Except for the frogs, it was quiet and peaceful. Food was good. We really liked this hotel.

The hosts are friendly and have things nicely arranged and extra items for use such as folding chairs for outdoors, a beach umbrella and a small cooler. If we come back to the big island any time in the future we’d definitely stay here again.

I loved the hospitality, and the value and price is great for families. I felt at home and will be going back. Host and Views were exceptional though this was the first time I have been asked (particularly as an amputee) to carry all of the trash, paper, bottles and cans down quite an outdoor stairway to trash bins underneath. also had to strip the beds!
