This is an amazing hostel! Super clean and the kitchen was very well kept. It's a little down the road from the main town but honestly, if you can snag a spot here, I would. Just make sure to do it in advance because the spots fill up fast. I had a private room and it was very spacious with a nice balcony. I only stayed one night because I had to head back to the capital but I wish I stayed longer to see the other towns in the rutas de floras. The hostel also has a motobike shop associated with it but unfortunately, when I was there, the lady that managed them was out of town.

Hostal Doña Mercedes ligt in Juayúa en heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Staff was helpful, kind and attentive. Beautiful garden and courtyard. Although this was the first town where we found overall folks to be unwelcoming, this hostel was a little ray of sunshine and welcoming.
