Clean and nicely decorated rooms, simple but well prepared meals for dinner and breakfast and a very friendly host who took his time to tell us about the history of the ancient ruins in the area and places we can visit in the Danube Delta (in detail). The location surpassed our expectations, so we definitely recommend it.

Verada Tour Guest House in Somova has a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi and a shared kitchen are available. Extremely friendly hosts. They do care for the wellbeing of their guests with a very good atmosphere, food and arrangements for trips on the delta channels. Mrs Mocanu is looking for the best and plenty of food to be offered and creates a cosy atmosphere with great attention to details. Mr Mocanu has its own, silent, catamaran offering trips on the surrounding lakes and Danube channels.

Feels like going home plus everything you want to see or need in Tulcea is close by. My room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, the a/c was a Godsend, the towels were fluffy and plush, the entire facility is spotless. Anna and Edward were so nice I felt like I was at my daughter's house. Anna would drop everything to insist on that I have tea in the garden. She arranged for a trip to the Delta, including transfers to the marina, for three of us guests, which we were beyond pleased with. The center of town (sights, banks, restaurants, cafes, groc store, post office) is a quick walk.
