Everything was very clean and the owners were so nice. The kitchen was a great place for cooking with all the utilities and even provided some fresh food everyday. We had a really great experience staying here.

Great hosting overall. The house was very tastefully decorated and newly renovated, with a well equipped outside space and even a small pool. Bathroom was very clean and loved the rain shower.

They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The property sits on a steep slope - like almost every property in Madeira - with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean and the village of Ponta do Sol below. The house is very comfortable and quiet. It is well equipped for cooking. It has a Jacuzzi on the terrace. We spent hours reading on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Restaurants and a small supermarket are within walking distance. If you want to explore the island you need a car. We had decided not to rent a car and made many walks in the surroundings of Ponta do Sol. We had one of the most relaxed holidays we had in a long time. We would not hesitate to stay with Juan and Cátia again.

Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha ligger i Câmara de Lobos, 8 minuters promenad från Vigário strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Honestly at first, I was a bit taken aback that there is no staff on site and that it was more of a house/Airbnb type than a hotel. However, it turned out to be AMAZING. I made this purchase DAY OF because of a very stressful last minute change to my trip, and this place was just what I needed to unwind and relax. Everything was super clean, and safe, and the facilities were just wonderful. I also talked with the cleaning lady the next day and she was super sweet. There were mango trees dropping fruit on the property, and all in all it was just magical. Free protected parking and everything. I felt completely safe there. There’s also a grocery store like a 5 min walk away if you want to go pick things up to cook (as well as many eateries).

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V ligger i Funchal, 12 minuters promenad från Funchals marina och 14 km från Cabo Girão-klippan, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
