Casa Do Antonio is just 100 metres from Velas Port, offering spacious rooms with cable TV and free tea and coffee for guests. Rooms boast views across Pico Island, the sea or the port. What a lovely place and a gracious host! The location is in the heart of town and from our window we could see Mount Pico. The terrace and gardens are beautiful. And the breakfast had all the local foods. Wonderful!

Set in Velas, Casa dos Rui´s offers accommodation with seating area. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Rui's home is located at the end of the village in the most peaceful area with a stunning view. Yet it's close to everything. We had an amazing time here. Rui is the most amazing host I've ever meet. He is helpful, thoughtful and always available to help with anything that can come up. Rui helped us to plan our stay on the island, gave us ideas what to visit and welcomed us like we were family. Rui's place is not just another nice accomodation on the island, it's a home away from home. And I would recommend anyone who wants to have a real Sao Jorge experience to stay with Rui. We will definitely return.

AzoresDream is set in Velas in the São Jorge Island Region, 41 km from Horta. The rooms come with a TV with satellite channels. AzoresDream features free WiFi . This was my second stay in AzoresDream. In my favourite room I feel already like at home. Julia and her husband are perfect hosts. In this house you will have everyting you need. Rooms are simple and perfectly clean. In the common area there is a kitchen and fridge. I like the location of the house. Velas is rather small so from the house you will have short distance to all main points: the port, the natural swimming area, church and restaurants. Do not miss the lovely public garden of Velas. I can recommend Azores Dream and I hope I will have opportunity to come back one day to SaoJorge island and sleep again in my favourite room. Thank you Julia! Quinta Do Canavial is located in São Jorge Island and features sweeping views over the green areas of the island and of the Atlantic Ocean. The unit includes an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant.... Amazing view of the ocean and cliffs. Tables scattered throughout the property for a secluded breakfast surrounded by cool plants a flowers. Staff was soooo awesome. They heard we were leaving early and would miss breakfast and they packed us lunch baggies to eat in the road. Amazing place I hope to come back

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.
