Overlooking the scenic Aurlandsfjord , Visit Undredal is located in Undredal village. It offers an in-house café, kayak rentals as well as a private beach area. The VIEW!! Im so glad we booked 2 cabins here instead of Flam (more touristy). If you have a vehicle then do yourself a favor and base yourserlf at Undredal - the stunning village that is straight out of a post card and a short 15min drive to Flam. This is one of the hotels/stays with the most beautiful views i have stayed in! none

We arrived before the check-in time, only with the intention of taking a walk in the surroundings, but they accommodated us immediately. The house is an historical building that is preserved as a museum full of details (read its history, it is very interesting: https://singerheimen.com/) and it is a privilege and a responsibility to be there. Despite being a building from the beginning of the 20th century, it is really clean and has all the comforts you need. We were even more fortunate to stay on the top floor, in the room that had been prepared for a visit from the queen. The views, incredible, the beds, very comfortable, plenty of space to store our luggage. The sun came in through the window while I was reading in a rocking chair... ufff... marvellous!!! In addition, breakfast is served in 2 bright rooms with large windows. It is at the entrance of a very beautiful valley, but also close to 2 other valleys that are worth visiting. And the best for last: the hosts (Kristin, Harald and their parents) are wonderful. We had a serious problem and we have no words to thank you for your help, your warmth and your lovely way to manage it. Hope we can come back one day!
