The location is a paradise on Earth. You are in the middle of the beautiful nature, you can swim, enjoy sauna and lot of other activities. Our host was very kind. He was there for us every time we needed. He also borrowed us his bikes, so we could visit Flekkefjord, which is 11 km away, and offered us a ride to the bus the day we were leaving. He did the cleaning every day and regularly checked if everything is alright. You share kitchen and common rooms with other guests, but there is enough common space and seatings, so it's up to you how much you want to socialise.

This guesthouse lies by the Setesdalsheiene Mountains, 40 km from the North Sea. It offers rooms with garden views, free on-site parking and easy access to surrounding hiking trails. Very welcoming property in a rural setting. Characterful buildings, very peaceful and quiet. It would be worth spending more than one night so you can walk the tracks in the area. Internet was good.

Situated by hiking trails, next to the River Otra, this property offers an award-winning restaurant and free private parking. Hovden Water Park & Spa is 5 minutes' drive away. The staff was incredible! They were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. We had dinner at the hotel when we arrived and it was delicious. The portion sizes were good and the food tasted great. The breakfast was also very good and the staff that prepared it were wonderful. The surrounding area was beautiful and quiet when we were there. The rooms were clean and there was a media room to enjoy as well. We enjoyed our stay.
