I have no bad thing to say about this hostel. Yes it could look like a normal private room hostel, but the way we felt staying at Rafa’s hostel was so amazing, that we came back two more times. Everything was great, even if there was a minor inconvenience, Rafa helped us in seconds. So this was obviously our favorite hostel ever. Also the rooms are nice, AC is great, the breakfast is really yummy (nica breakfast), and overall the vibe is very chill and calm. Thank you Rafa!

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Fantastic location , great design of building , good spec , friendly and helpful staff

Red Pepper Popoyo Guesthouse is only 50 meters away from the beach, Offering a rooftop terrace and views of the sea, Red Pepper Popoyo is located in Popoyo, 2.8 km from Salinas. Red pepper is the perfect stay for couples. Fairly priced, built with great attention to detail, and managed in a very sustainable way. Everything works perfectly. Tidy rooms, each with its own terrace on top, and a complete kitchen. Mariken and Mark are lovely hosts and we ended up extending our stay. Would really recommend the curry night on Monday and Wednesday; excellent food and affordable prices.

Four Trees is located on a hilltop with million-dollar views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Our room was spacious and comfy. The communal kitchen is well-appointed. The wifi coverage is excellent. Poppy the dog and Blimp the cat are adorable ambassadors. Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.

Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

It is steps away from the beach and a short walk to a number of restaurants - many of which prepare my girlfriend's favorite dish, pescado entero. There is a small store across the street, and trucks selling fruits and vegetables pass by a few times a day. The property itself is very well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There are a number of tropical plants and flowers lining stone covered paths.. All of which you can enjoy while lounging on a hammock in the shade of the porch outside your accommodations. But the best part is the host Ben, a friendly and easy going surfer who gets up early for dawn patrol at the reef break just across the river. A host in the truest sense of the word, he makes it his mission to ensure his guests have an enjoyable stay. He anticipated most of our needs without us even having to ask, responded right away to any request, and was able to answer any question. He even organized and led a boat trip for us and fellow guests to a hard to reach surf spot.
