The hotel is located just 5 min walk from the bus station (we travelled by bus). It very clean facility and the property is taken care of. Everything was super clean and there was daily housekeeping. The water pressure was great, and no problems with hot water. The room was tastefully decorated (we had 2 double beds). The owner's house is adjacent to the hotel wing. The family owns a pet guinea pig named Churro - my kids went crazy about this adorable little guy!!! So everyday the lady brought him out by the kitchen and let my kids play and pet it. Cuteness overload! The room was cool and quiet (especially, during the night). We also bought tours right from the hotel (their prices are very compatible with the rest of the tour operators). Everything was great and nothing to complain about. My kids enjoyed the nature (around Quetzalan - caves/waterfalls/pyramids) and the little Churro. ))) It's a shame that this town is virtually unknown to American tourists.

Choco Hostel ligger i centrala Puebla och erbjuder en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en bar. It's a super nice hostel. It's perfectly clean, the dorm was huge and beautifully furnished with many nice details. The staff is more than friendly and helpful! It's a 10 - 15 minute walk to the historical center what is perfectly fine. I enjoyed my stay and can recommend the hostel 100%! Have stayed in several hostels in Puebla and this was definitely the best one.

This is a great place, very high quality furnishings, you can see that the owners pay attention to detail. Very cool hacienda vibe. I stayed for 2 nights in January so it was the off season. Very quiet neighborhood, about 3Km to center, easy and affordable to zip around using Uber in Atlixco so not a problem. You can walk to the bus pretty quick also. Owners are very nice and breakfast is good! Property is beautiful and spacious- if you have kids this seems like a perfect spot.
