Loved staying here and exploring the old city..clean comfy, safe and every one in the community is so friendly with a genuine hello! The host is very knowledgeable and has a real love and passion for his city. Great restraunt near by too.

Lakshman is one of the best hosts I've ever met! Due to a train delay, I arrived at the guest house late on the day of check-in, but Lakshman was still very patient and waited for me. When visiting the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, he recommended a cost-effective and fantastic tuk-tuk driver. Before departing, he even picked lotus flowers from a pond for me to offer to sleep buddha! Lakshman's thoughtfulness made me have a great impression of Sri Lanka!
