The view from our patio was breath taking, and the glass doors looking out at the view made it even more special, because it feels like you are close to the jungle even indoors. You get to see several species of birds right from there in the mornings. Saman, our host was very accommodating and his brother Pradeep took us on our jungle tour and we had a great time. There’s a hotel close by where you can pay to use the pool as well.

It feels like I. The middle of the jungle and still you are close to the beach. The owners are super nice and help you with whatever you need. The food is delicious. Breakfast was superb! We had a brilliant time!

The property and the room were great. It’s all you really need in Weligama, at a very reasonable cost. I wasn’t a huge fan of the town (not a surfer) but my stay and conversations with the host were the highlight. You won’t be disappointed. Just make sure you take some time to talk to the owner!
