Located in Batticaloa and only 1.4 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, RoaBaa Guesthouse provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Ended up extending my stay with two more nights here as I enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, very clean and just great quality to the last detail. I needed to work during the days, and couldn’t imagine a better spot to do so, AC worked perfectly, the room had a huge window, I could just sit beside it looking out, and just in front, a tree gave enough cover for privacy. Location is central, just next to the main road but hidden in a side street making it quiet. A few local restaurants are in the area and a Food city is also close by. The owner was very nice, made sure I had everything I needed.

Dinner cooked on-site was fantastic and excellent breakfast. Location is in a quiet area, near to the sea. Two minutes walk to Passikudah beach and five minutes to Kalkudah beach.

Featuring garden views, Neem Forest Guest House & Yoga Meditation Centre provides accommodation with balcony, around less than 1 km from Kallady Beach. Neem Forest GH is somewhat outside the city but only a short tuktuk ride away. As a result it is a beautifully peaceful and extremely quiet location. Dawn chorus of birds was amazing. The host was extremely helpful and ready to talk about all matter of subjects. The Sri Lanken breakfast was always too much and the host made sure it was always different. Nearby is the many kilometer long sand beach (no other tourists) where you watch the fishermen pull in their nets of caught fish. Meem Forest is highly recommended.

Located within less than 1 km of Dutch Fort Batticaloa and a 19-minute walk of Batticaloa Railway Station, Sri Construction Circuit Bungalow features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... It was a quick stay but the host ensured I had everything I needed from the moment I arrived. The room was very large with lots of areas to sit and or set your personal items on which was appreciated. I had a spacious kitchen to cook if I preferred (grocery store right down the street). The bathroom was on the smaller side but had everything you’d need.

Krish, the host, is a very remarkable woman. She's so friendly! She's very well organized and very competent. She's speak English very well. Krish is a great person!

Set within 1.7 km of Pasikuda Beach and 2.8 km of Kalkudah Beach, Aiden Homestay offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pasikuda. Very nice homestay place, there are several rooms, shared living room, shared open air dinner place and big secured parking. Owners family is very nice and friendly it was very nice to speak with. Our room was comfortable, bed was comfortable too, bathroom was big and clean(everything was perfectly clean). Very good air condition in the room. And good sound isolation. We sleept very well here. We ordered dinner and breakfast here - all was tasty.

Juda Holiday Villa, a property with a garden, is situated in Batticaloa, 200 metres from Kallady Beach, 2.3 km from Batticaloa Railway Station, as well as 3.5 km from Dutch Fort Batticaloa. Juda and Amutha were fantastic hosts, so helpful and friendly. We stayed for three nights to explore Batticaloa, where we rented bicycles from the accommodation and were given recommendations for where to explore and where to eat. Beds were comfy, breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean. Highly recommend!!
