Room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water too for the shower. The tour was excellent, we learned so much from Kong. He is a brilliant guide.

Boasting mountain views, Sipanya Guesthouse features accommodation with terrace, around 11 km from Plain of Jars: Site 1. This guest house offers free private parking and free shuttle service. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area, slightly off center. Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from if you walk for 10-15 min. The owner, Mr. Abay personally picked me up from the airport. He also took me (and a couple other guests) on a guided tour of the Plain of Jars (which I'd highly recommend). He also gave me plates, spoons and forks for food I had picked up at the local market. Mr. Khay at the front desk is eagerto help, should you need anything. My room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Wifi was surprisingly good. The staff was sweet and always greet you with a smile. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.
