This is the only place you want to stay in PhonSavan. Not only for the fire that’s always burning in the common area BUT the man himself Kong! He’s a wonderful person/host. He’s happy to tell you anything you want to know about the area and if he doesn’t know it he makes it his duty to find out. We went on his tour and HIGHLY recommend it!

Kong is a great host and Tourguide. We had a great time there. Bungalows are great, clean and spacious. Thank you Kong and Team for an awesome experience!

Kong was such a nice host and he welcomed me with a smile and helped me with so many things! I was so sad about only having time to stay there for 1 night cause he was so comfortable to be around. I didnt go on his tour but i really wish I had! The bed was nice and the outdoor seating was really good aswell. Just a very chill man and very flexible. He welcoms everyone and helped me get a tuktuk to the busstation in the evening.

The host Kong is amazing. While his English is decent, he is extremely enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We did the tour of the 3 main plain of jars with him and it was completely worth it. The rooms are good value for money, and as it is located in a hidden street it is very quiet. 100% recommend!

Kong's guest house is very central with lots of nearby restaurants. No air-conditioned but unnecessary as it got cold at night. We had to turn ceiling fans off. There's always coffee, tea, and banana at the reception. We also booked a private tour with him in his comfortable and air-conditioned mini van. He took us to sites 1,2&3, very knowledgeable about the site, history, and geopolitics, peppered with dad jokes and anecdotes

Kong is a fantastic host and happy to answer any questions and queries. The guesthouse is a few minutes walk from local restaurants and offers various additional services such as laundry, motorbike hire, and tours.
