Boasting inner courtyard views, Bolaven trail guesthouse offers accommodation with terrace, around 700 metres from Wat Luang. We ended up getting the dorm room, which just had a bunk bed which was perfect! The bed was super comfy, and the shared washroom was very clean. It was a very quiet and comfortable stay, would reccomend it!

Sander and Tanoi are amazing hosts. The food is excellent. The view of the river and small islands is fantastic. The hosts proactively reached out to me and arranged Tuk Tuk and a local boat in the evening - I would've struggled if they didn't do it. Laundry service was quick. They even arranged a motorcycle for my trip to Don Det and Don Khon. I loved their hammocks. The villagers around the property are very friendly too. Highly recommended!

Xuanmai Garden Resort is a 15-minute drive from Pakse’s centre. Guests can enjoy their meals at the on-site restaurant. Loved the location. The host does the meals and they are great but the deserts are extra. The room was clean daily and the towels were charged daily. You could book tours and rides to the airport or tickets for buses into other cities. Loved it.

Located in Don Det in the Champasak region, Namknong view features a terrace. This guest house provides a bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location had a beautiful view and a comfortable place to hang out. It was the perfect distance from the main town. The hammock was a nice touch.

A very nice family run guest house right next to the Mekong with a view from the poolside deck downstream to the old French railway bridge. Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

Located in Pakse, 500 metres from International bus station KM 2, Heaven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Had a very nice time here at the guesthouse. Great way to truly experience Pakse. Spent afternoons in the ac room. Could walk to town center or tuktuk. Tina was fun to talk with and hung out with her and some of her friends one of the nights and felt very welcome. Will return!

The position of the place is perfect to discover the island. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!
