You could book tours and rides to the airport or tickets for buses into other cities. Loved it.

Our room was at the front facing the river and had a nice balcony with a small table and deck chairs. The large pool was kept clean the entire time we were there. The owner was warm and welcoming and has good English so was able to help with enquiries and onward bookings. She also produced delicious inexpensive home cooked Lao meals and had a good supply of essentials such as cold beer. This is really good value accommodation, not luxury, but perfectly comfortable and everything you need. We were booked to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 6. Highly recommended.

The location is ideal, near the football stadium where you can go and watch football games for free, nearby there is also a shopping mall and many restaurants.
