You are on a nearly empty island with no roads or establishments, the water is warm like a bath. The huts and tents are nestled into the jungle, a literal stone’s throw from a white, sandy beach. It is quiet. People at this camp/resort tend to snorkel, hike, and read in hammocks all day and not much else. The food is homemade and healthy. The staff are warm and accommodating. I originally booked for five nights, not knowing if I could handle much more in such a secluded area without getting bored. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I extended my stay. Don’t think twice- if you have come across this wild place in your search, you are meant to be here.

The staff is very nice, the place is clean and cheap, bed is comfy, they have internet (which we didn't know before), food is good, you can borrow books and they have water at your disposal. We were in-between two rooms and being sensitive to noise it was hard to sleep for me because the neighbours often didn't give a damn about the noise they make and walls are paper. You can also hear the kitchen in the morning so if you're a light sleeper like me, (even with earplugs) be aware of that ^^ But still it depends on the travelers next door really and it doesn't change the fact that this place is totally worth it !

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They will make coffee whenever and bring it to you. The rooms are pretty simple but very clean and fit for purpose. The mosquito net is a bonus as there are quite a lot of sandflies in the area.

Guests may eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, brunch and cocktails. Recently opened family run business on the secluded bay of Sunset Beach. Nicely furnished and decorated rooms upstairs with an open restaurant and terrace below serving delicious food. An outstanding location for amazing views of the sunset. Great hospitality shown throughout all day. Khmer, English, French and even some German spoken to cater for everyone. Come and enjoy;)

Such a relaxing and beautiful place where you can really immerse yourself into a more local and nature experience. Johney also an amazing host, super helpful, offers scooters for rent, free snorkelling gear and kayaks. The hut itself was really nice, huge bed and it would cool down enough in the night with the fan to make comfortable sleeping experience. Only comment I would make is expect no luxury for toilet and shower facilities, its all part of the experience, and we found it very enjoyable but might not be everyones cup of tea.

It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. Amazing host Sam, absolute friendly atmosphere, you feel part of the community on the island. MPay Bay is not for everyone, but if you have warm heart, you will love it here. Need to come back in the future.

Loved this guesthouse, really felt at home here, the decor is great. The property is clean with several communal areas inside and out. The bed is super comfy. Ellen is a fantastic host, very approachable and easy to communicate with prior to arriving. In addition, the coffee was great!
