Onsens were great! Dinner was way better then expected. The porridge and free coffee in the morning was a nice bonus as well. I would stay here again in a second.

民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO situa-se em Tanabe, a 2 minutos a pé de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art e a 29 km de Sala de Espetáculos Kamitonda. The host was very nice and helpful, and the place is just on the kumano kodo path. It was a great experience.

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar encontra-se em Shingu, a 6 minutos a pé de Shingu Castle Ruins Park e a 700 m de Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Very clean and modern, excellent quality amenities were provided. Everything was done with a lot of thought and care. I felt so relaxed to arrive after a long travel day to a place so comfortable. Loved the pajamas too. The owner is also very friendly and accommodating - we went to his restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing and everyone was sooo welcoming

The owners went out of their way helping us to get our daughter's phone back, which she had left on the train (driving to the station in the middle of the night and organizing the key to the train!). The hotel is very cozy and the coffee (home-roasted) is great. Thank you very much!

It was very close to train/bus station, restaurants and free bikes provided to ride around town. Authentic Japanese house - great space and experience.

Em Monte Koya, a cerca de 37 km de Tama Museum, Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo apresenta um restaurante, quartos não fumador e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The staff were very nice. The location was perfect. We even ate at the attached restaurant and the food and service were very good.

Very pleasant common area with great selection of books on Koyasan, main cities, Japanese culture and food. Great host who is so welcoming, accommodating and easy to talk to. Thank you!

Giovanni and Yutaka, the hosts and owners were very thoughtful and accommodating. We rode on his truck going to their farm where their goats are and it was super fun! The meals prepared by Giovanni, featuring his award-winning goat cheese, are very artfully prepared and served, not to mention very delicious!

Situado em Tanabe, a 23 km da Termas de Shirahama, o Kumano Kodo Nagano Guesthouse disponibiliza um jardim e quartos climatizados com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. This was such a great stay! Simon and Yumiko, the owners of this small Guesthouse are such lovely and inviting people. Simon met us at Kii-Tanabe station at our pre-discussed time, and drove the 25 min to the remote guesthouse. The atmosphere around the property is serene and so quiet, such a good change in pace compared to Osaka! Simon helped us with our Kumano Kodo walking plan, and then the next morning dropped us off at the start of the hike, another 30 min drive away. There’s a small shrine that you can walk to close to the property. There are two guest rooms on property, we were the only ones there, so it wasn’t loud. We had a microwave, fridge, electric kettle and heater/air conditioner unit in our room. They also provide coffee and green tea and cups! Highly recommend!
