We had the most wonderful stay at this place. The guest house is located beautifully right by the seaside with fantastic sea views from all rooms. The rooms are just big enough, renovated newly and immaculately clean, so we felt really comfortable. The Japanese breakfast was tasty and and the Japanese dinner exceeded our expectations and is great value for money. This all was topped by the exceptional hospitality we were met with, and our heartfelt thanks goes out to manager Miki-san who made us feel so welcome and even drove us to the sand dunes, to the station when we left and gave us a packed sando for our trip, all complimentary. Cannot recommend this place enough!

After a long day cycling this guesthouse was a clean, cozy and welcome stop for the night. the hostess was wonderful and very helpful.

Located at the foot of Mount Daisen and a 3-minute walk from Daisen-ji Temple, guests at Shukubo Kansho-in Temple Sanrakuso can experience staying in a traditional Japanese temple. Absolutely loved this place - our room on the second floor looked out onto the trees and up to Mount Daisen, and from the seating area we felt immersed in the woods. The hosts felt very welcoming and calm and it was the most peaceful experience. The vegan food was out of this world and we started each day with a zen meditation with one of the monks. Would definitely recommend to stay at this ryokan to find some stillness and comfort. Would rate at 11 if I could.

It’s a really lovely location, a bit far from the station but the host kindly picked me up and dropped me off so it was still very convenient. She even accommodated a last minute time change as my train was very delayed. She was so kind and friendly!

It is just like a heaven. Every details. Laundry system, laundry hanger in the room. Desk and chair in the room. Lovely kitchen and dining tables. Free parking space with a roof(my case, motorbike). Kind staff.

Destiny Inn Sakaiminato is located in Honjōmachi, 20 km from Matsue. Private parking is available on site. Some units include views of the mountain or river. Good location for the kitaro street. Near the station. Very clean, the owner is interested in traveling.

Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.
