Everything was absolutely amazing! Kayoko is a friendly, extraordinary host, who made our stay as good as it could be. Her breakfast is also delicious. Make sure to follow her restaurant tips, which resulted into one of our best meals in Japan.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, giving us useful advice on how to move around the town. Emiko speaks very good English. The hotel room looks just like in the photos posted on their website, and everything is very clean. The breakfast was fresh and slightly different each morning. The hotel is also well placed, just a few minutes walking from the bus station and the Keihan train Line (which reaches many touristic objectives in the city and up to Osaka).

The people i've met in Kokonoe Machiya. It's simply a place where you get the experience to meet new people and peer into their lives, given the chance. I've been lucky to meet Emily, Blanca, Eze, Sato-san, Chen and especially Tony, I won't ever forget this experience i've had during my stay. I've made a lot of good memories here, and I'll be visiting again for sure during my next stay in Kyoto ! I wish Tony, his wife, and everyone else i met here the best that I can wish for in life, and I look forward to meeting you guys again, hopefully soon !

Family Inn Kei 慶 se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Minami Ward din Kyoto, la 1,7 km de Gara Kyoto, la 15 minute de mers pe jos de Templul Tofuku-ji și la 2,9 km de Altarul Fushimi Inari... The house is near Kyoto station and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The host and the staffs are are so kindness and helpful. A male staff drove us to the Kyoto Station when all taxies were unavailable and another female wrapped our paper bag by plastic bag because it was raining. I highly appreciate these people this place, and will continue to stay here when I come back to Kyoto.

Woman Only Guesthouse Nanohana (Female only) se bucură de o locație excelentă în cartierul Nakagyo Ward din Kyoto, la mai puțin de 1 km de Gara Gion-Shijō, la 13 minute de mers pe jos de Muzeul Kyōto... - Friendly staff: everyone is very nice! The staff would explain to you all the instructions of your stay and help you as much as possible. They even made a customised key chain for you if you want your bed sheet to be changed. On the day of checkout, you can leave your luggage there and they would offer you for a rest in the living room when you return back to take your luggage. - Installation: there were all the necessary appliances in the living space which includes a microwave, water dispenser, fridge, TV, and even a leg massage machine (there were always people using it, it's very comfy). In my room, which was a 4 bed room, there was another TV just for the guests in this room. - Great location: very near to Teramachi and Shinkyogoku shopping streets. But it's very silent around the area so no worries about any noise.

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

Offering air-conditioned rooms in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, situated between Kamogawa River and Takase canal, Hazuki Kyoto is 20 minutes stroll from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion District. The owner was super friendly and very helpful for all our needs! The room we stayed in had heated floors which was so comfortable for when we slept.

Guesthouse Kyoto Arashiyama se află în Kyoto, la 4 km de Altarul Kitano Tenmangu, și pune la dispoziție camere cu aer condiționat și o grădină. The hosts are so lovely and kind! They were really flexible with my check in despite me arriving there well before the designated time. It's the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler; the tatami style room was very cozy and comfortable. Small kitchen space and fridge was also a plus. The location is nice as its not in the thick of the really touristy areas so it doesn't feel over-crowded, but it's easy enough to commute to popular spots via bus.
