Everything was absolutely amazing! Kayoko is a friendly, extraordinary host, who made our stay as good as it could be. Her breakfast is also delicious. Make sure to follow her restaurant tips, which resulted into one of our best meals in Japan.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The house is near Kyoto station and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The host and the staffs are are so kindness and helpful. A male staff drove us to the Kyoto Station when all taxies were unavailable and another female wrapped our paper bag by plastic bag because it was raining. I highly appreciate these people this place, and will continue to stay here when I come back to Kyoto.

The staff would explain to you all the instructions of your stay and help you as much as possible. They even made a customised key chain for you if you want your bed sheet to be changed. On the day of checkout, you can leave your luggage there and they would offer you for a rest in the living room when you return back to take your luggage. - Installation: there were all the necessary appliances in the living space which includes a microwave, water dispenser, fridge, TV, and even a leg massage machine (there were always people using it, it's very comfy). In my room, which was a 4 bed room, there was another TV just for the guests in this room. - Great location: very near to Teramachi and Shinkyogoku shopping streets. But it's very silent around the area so no worries about any noise.

The house is a contemporary renovated town house, it is actually more spacious than the pictures shown and the lighter is much softer and warmth, there is a small backyard with a tiny pond in the middle, the 2nd floor have some interested hollow floor design with a foot bridge connecting the bedroom so you can see the first floor from the 2nd floor, the art collection such as some wall painting and slide door as well as the teapot collection is quite classy as well

The owner was super friendly and very helpful for all our needs! The room we stayed in had heated floors which was so comfortable for when we slept.

Guesthouse Kyoto Arashiyama ligger 4 km fra Kitano Tenmangu-helligdommen ligger i Kyoto og tilbyder gratis wi-fi samt hurtig ind- og udtjekning. The hosts are so lovely and kind! They were really flexible with my check in despite me arriving there well before the designated time. It's the perfect amount of space for a solo traveler; the tatami style room was very cozy and comfortable. Small kitchen space and fridge was also a plus. The location is nice as its not in the thick of the really touristy areas so it doesn't feel over-crowded, but it's easy enough to commute to popular spots via bus.
