The owner is one of the nicest and warmest people I have met. The bed was even nicer than that of a much more expensive ryokan. The train ride to the guesthouse was scenic, the location of the accommodation is perfect, the eateries nearby are all good. The place itself was spotless with a really nice shower room. Everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.

I loved the hospitality that I received there. The owner of the lodging went above and beyond in making sure that I was comfortable and provided for. Today I left early for my pilgrim walk and did not have breakfast. The lady sent me a message and brought me the food and additional lunch 30 km away. She just did it out of the kindness of her heart. She did not need to do that, but she did. It was also raining yesterday and I did not want to leave the room. she brought me lunch on her own initiative. She is smiley and helpful and kind and the place is super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this accommodation for anybody.

Berjarak 12 menit berjalan kaki atau 3 menit naik bus dari pintu keluar utara Stasiun JR Kochi, Katsuo Guest House menawarkan kamar-kamar asrama bergaya Jepang dengan AC. Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Very unique mountain top location in traditional Japanese home, but made very comfortable with everything needed for a cozy and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if looking for an experience off the beaten path. We especially enjoyed warming up in the fire pit, while BBQing a delicious meal and enjoying the relaxing and awesome views from the mountains.

Terletak di Tosa, 24 km dari Daizen-ji Temple, Haruno Guesthouse menawarkan akomodasi dengan sepeda gratis, parkir pribadi gratis, dan lounge bersama. This is a great, affordable place to stop along the shikoku pilgrimage route. I stayed 2 nights. The nights before and after temple 35, walking without a bag for that day was so nice and gave my legs a mild break with plenty of time to do laundry, clean, and reorganize my gear. Since it's so affordable it makes a great place for a rest day. Walking distance to a great grocery store and conbinis.
